Vision
To become Africa’s leading hub for handcrafted gifts—rooted in Rwanda, celebrating culture, and creating sustainable opportunities that empower young single mothers across Rwanda and the continent.
Mission

- Promote Rwandan culture and craftsmanship while creating sustainable income opportunities.
- Strengthen IMITAKO as a social enterprise that reinvests profits into empowering women and community development.
- Scale IMITAKO’s impact by establishing weaving centres and partnerships across Africa, fostering cultural exchange, women’s empowerment, and sustainable growth beyond Rwanda.
